Brandon Mendelson takes us through a fun and very interesting journey to uncover a lot of what is wrong with all the hoopla about Social Media. But don't just take his word: listen to what Gary Vaynerchuk, Nicholas Carr, Paul Graham, Tim Berners-Lee, Tony Hsieh, Malcolm Gladwell and Evgeny Morozov have to say.
I think this is a book that all social media students should read. The book starts slow and frankly I would remove the beginning part.
I am completely surprised by how many people found this book helpful. It is one bitter man's rant against an industry that clearly he doesn't understand and cannot master.
