I could not finish this book . i bought this as i was looking for some cheap accessible writings of jacob boheme.

Michael Birkel and Jeff Bach, both professors of religious studies (respectively, Professor of Religion, Earlham College, Richmond, Indiana & Associate Professor of Religious Studies, Elizabethtown College, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania), have produced a highly readable introduction to the esoteric work of Jakob Boehme in their Genius of the Transcendent: Mystical Writings of Jakob Boehme.Birkel and Bach open with a short introduction to who Jacob Boehme is, contextualize his theological writings, and present key thoughts on Boehme's oeuvre.

This was a very pleasant presentation of some of Boehme's works.Though I've only finished the first read through {it requires a more thorough reread}, it's modern usage of archaic terminology has made the content palatable.
